so that i'll actually complete assignment two days before they're due, instead of this whole starting large assignments two days before they are due.
it's time to create 20 pages of clear writing out of a succinct abstract and 8 pages of rambling notes. bah humbug.

i think even grown ups do this. my prof had a conference in new york a few months ago and on a thursday he said he was leaving saturday but he hadn't started writing yet. seriously?
also writing a journal article! only mine's for journal of modern literature. it's due at 6:00 on thursday. i feel like we're so close to each other right now.
oh, rebecca, who needs sleep, nourishment, or their sanity during dead week? i am working on our 598 portfolio cover letter right now. is it bad that i just hit page 5 and i'm still talking about "reflections on teaching writing" and still have two other sections to cover?
i haven't even thought about my 530 paper. gross.
I don't know how this is possible, but your feelings are sending me violent flashbacks of when I used to put off my assignments. But I confess, I never had a monster of an assignment such as this. Good luck. Take pictures of your face each stage for my entertainment. Thanks.
ah- i do not miss that last minute student feeling- but i do wish i was getting a masters degree... so keep your chin up little friend. you are so great and smart! you will forever be one of my heroes!
well, the deadline for my 530 paper has been extended until friday, and i lack the intrinsic motivation to get it done any sooner... so i am in agony right now =)
i hope your paper and final class went amazingly well! have a great break, becca! if you miss me too much, we should devise a trip to idaho pizza company... =)
