... and i am out of practice.
that was the longest it has EVER taken me to write a paper, and it is far from my best work.
final conclusions:
1. i'm glad it's over
2. i am praying that my genius ideas carried "a power to virtue friendly," so that my teacher doesn't totally hate it
3. i hope i never have to study wordsworth again
5 comments:
wordsworth: lake district, newspapered walls, dove cottage, talking about jaguars with you. that's all i need to know.
wordsworth:
wordy
long-winded
repetative
redundant
says the same thing over and over again
strange sexual attraction to sister
gag me.
in other news, i mentioned that we went to jane austen's house the other day in my austen class, and the girls went wild with jealousy. it made me think. we really do need to make another trek.
I'm jealous of us and I was there- what a great time!
wordsworth:
nature...
and all of the above. I did write a paper on some of his poems one semester and it was so memorable that I can't recall what it was about. Nature... and nature... I guess.
Ok, not that it matters- but it was bugging me so I looked it up:
"The Death of Imagination and Wordsworth"
Mostly about Tintern Abbey... booooring.
Thank you for your time.
steph. i wrote a paper on tintern abbey the winter after we got back. yours was probably better.
